following my previous Easy, Instant Google Custom Search Engine with Blogspot post (part 1), the search engine can only shown on your blogspot web.

now that i create the google cref widget, you are now free to put your search engine on any other web.
that's what i call Really Easy, Instant Google Custom Search Engine with Blogspot (TM).

it was created for my own use. but i do hope you like it as much i me.

if you have try/made some CSE (custom search engine) you might find it a bit tedious maintaining the engine. even start making it will need quite some work.

now with blogger-in-draft new (quite old already) search box, we can instantly make any CSE we like very easily. just make some link lists and put in the search box and instantly you have yourself a CSE just the way you like it.

and, it's also very easy maintaining your CSE. just regularly check and keep your link list updated and your CSE should always perform well.

my google search widget now top rated on widgetbox. it allow your visitor to search you website and it display your logo and link to your web in the search result.

just created indonesian blog search engine powered by google. please contribute by adding your blogs and your friends' and any other indonesian blog you know. you can also add this search engine to your personal google page. or, add the widget to your BlogSpot with less than 3 mouse click, without even touching your keyboard.

pasang search engine ini di blog anda!

google just launch new features for google pages creator. it's supposed to make our live easier so that even dummies can create their own webpages.

so, i go to my page manager to see what can i do with these new features and found yet another google problems... all my pages disappear! actually my pages still there, but (somehow) the page manager do not show them.

then, by chance, i refresh the browser and all my pages are there! weird...

from those five new features, what i like most is forward all conversation instead of one mail. second is, send offline messages to gtalk friends. third is, actually not to new and i already used it, it's gmail apps on my mobile phone.

Today i am building links to Indonesian Bloggers and found yet another Google Beta Blogger problem on Firefox 1.5.0.6 on Linux.

when i setup about 20+ links, i started gets a LOT of 'Warning: Unresponsive script'. about 3 warning for each links i added. very annoying...

is it only a glitch?

new things happening on blogger beta...

- no more need to publish/republish index etc...
- now support tags (they call it labels)
- single login. use your google account to login.
- we can put html/javascript without messing with html templates
- atom feed only. no more rss.
- not working with konqueror 3.5.3 :)

i see google's analytics (previously known as urchin) today and see that they do not accept any more sign up because it said, they experiences slow down in reporting data due to huge demand...

fortunately for me. i just signed up few days ago...

you can still enter your email on the signup page and wait to be notified when they re-open for public.

more and more people are using google adsense to monetize their website and/or their blogs.
it's a great and easy way to make money.


i know at least one thing (if/when implement) will let us make even more money than we ever would...
it would be a Toolbar with our adsense code planted into it.


it's similar to alexa's toolbar which we can easily customized and let us make money from amazon affiliate code planted into it.


i bet google already know about alexa toolbar.
but, for google, that would be too easy for us!?!?
maybe google do not want to let us make money that easy?


they even let the us adsense affiliate to promote firefox with google toolbar and make money out of it.
still, i rather choose not get paid promoting the toolbar and have my adsense code planted into it.
